BOTOX FAQ
Cosmetic results typically last three to four months, and the effect fades gradually rather than all at once. For underarm sweating, results can last anywhere from 4 to 12 months. Most patients settle into a rhythm of three to four visits per year.
You may begin to see softening within 24 to 48 hours after treatment, but the full effect arrives closer to two weeks. That is why we schedule any touch-up assessment at day 14 rather than sooner.
The injections are shallow and use a very fine needle, so most patients feel only a brief pinch. Numbing cream is available if you are sensitive, though the majority of our patients skip it.
Stay upright for about four hours, avoid rubbing or massaging the treated areas, and hold off on strenuous exercise until the next day. You can return to work immediately after your appointment.
