How does Biocorneum work?

If you have undergone a surgical procedure, you want the surgical scars to fade quickly, feel flexible, and be as invisible as possible. Treating your surgical scars with Biocorneum® is the answer, and we recommend this product to all of our patients. The smooth, clear gel is easy to apply, and dries quickly. The gel dries and forms a breathable, flexible protective shield over an incision. It moves just like your skin, requires no adhesive, and doesn’t peel.

How do you use Biocorneum?

The application of the gel is extremely simple. Ensure the area is clean and dry, and apply a thin layer twice a day over the scar. Allow it to dry, and wait 15 minutes before venturing into the sun. The smooth protective layer can be covered with cosmetics or additional sunscreen as needed.
